Questions about our data

Where does defence contract data come from?
From official public sources: SAM.gov and USAspending.gov in the United States, TED for the European Union, Find a Tender and Contracts Finder in the United Kingdom, NATO agency procurement pages and national ministries of defence. Every record links to its source.
Do you use data from behind portal logins?
No. We read only what a buyer publishes openly. Nothing comes from registered-supplier areas, and no classified or export-controlled technical data is stored.
How do you handle people in the data?
Only business roles named in public sources, with the source and date shown. Anyone can ask for removal or correction on the data request page.
Why do values differ from the original notice?
We keep the original value and currency and add a USD equivalent at a reference exchange rate, so contracts can be compared across markets.
