GovDash does not publish prices. Its pricing page describes three annual plans (Starter from one full seat, Growth from eight full seats, and a custom Enterprise tier) with unlimited lighter-use seats and shared credits, but lists no dollar amounts and tells buyers to talk to sales. Budget for a quote, not a rate card, and decide first whether you are buying proposal software or a way to find bids.
How much does GovDash cost?
GovDash costs whatever its sales team quotes, because no seat price, credit allotment or annual total is published. The vendor's own pricing page confirms the structure but not the numbers, and neither G2 nor Vendr lists a figure for the product. Any article that gives you an exact yearly price for GovDash is guessing.
| Plan | What the vendor says | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | Begins with 1 full seat on an annual plan, more seats added as needed, unlimited flex seats | Not published |
| Growth | Requires 8 or more full seats on an annual commitment, adds SSO, custom roles, a dedicated account manager and guided onboarding | Not published |
| Enterprise | Custom pricing and terms, centrally managed account, segregated divisions, deployment options | Custom |
The structure gives you three useful facts for budgeting. It is an annual commitment on every tier, so there is no month-to-month exit. The unit is the full seat, so headcount drives cost. And usage is metered through credits whose monthly allotment is described only as generous, so ask for the number in writing.
What does GovDash actually sell?
GovDash sells an AI platform for capture, proposal development and contract management. Its modules help a team draft responses, track compliance against a solicitation and manage a pipeline once opportunities are chosen. That is work done after you have decided to bid.
It matters for your budget because the question a defense supplier usually has first is different: which of this week's notices are worth a response at all, who holds the incumbent contract, and when does it come back. A proposal tool does not answer that, and a bid-discovery tool does not write the response. Many teams end up paying for both, so price them as two line items.
Is GovDash worth it for defense contractors?
GovDash is worth it for a defense contractor that writes several formal proposals a quarter and loses real hours to compliance matrices and first drafts. If you bid a handful of times a year, a quote at the Starter level will rarely pay back, and the time is better spent choosing better bids.
Three questions help. How many proposals will you submit in the next twelve months? How many of those were chosen with a documented fit reason rather than a keyword hit? And would a shorter, scored shortlist save more than faster drafting? If the honest answer to the last one is yes, fix discovery first.
What is a cheaper alternative to GovDash for finding defense work?
DefenceContractors Pro at $399 a month, or $2,388 a year, is a lower-commitment way to find defense work, because it reads only defense buyers in the US, UK, NATO agencies and Europe, scores each notice against your capability profile and adds contracts coming up for recompete. It does not draft proposals, so it complements GovDash rather than replacing it.
| GovDash | DefenceContractors | |
|---|---|---|
| Main job | Capture, proposal drafting and contract management | Finding, scoring and tracking defense notices, awards and recompetes |
| Price | Quote only, annual commitment | Pro $399 a month or $2,388 a year; Business $8,988 a year for 5 seats; Enterprise $29,988 a year for 25 seats |
| Buyers | Government contracting generally | Defense buyers only, including UK MOD and NATO agencies |
| Best for | Teams writing many proposals | Teams deciding which bids to chase |

How to get a better GovDash quote
Ask for the same things every time, in writing, and compare more than one vendor before the end of a quarter, when sales teams are most flexible.
- Seat count. Ask what the price is at one, three and eight full seats, so you know where Growth pricing starts to make sense.
- Credit allotment. Get the monthly credits per full seat as a number and ask what happens when a team runs out.
- Renewal terms. Ask for the year-two price cap and the notice date for leaving.
- Module scope. The vendor says seat price stays the same whichever modules you enable, so confirm you are not paying for modules you will not use.
- A pilot on a real solicitation. Run one live response through it before signing and time the work.
Keep every quote and its date in one place. Teams that also sell to commercial buyers often build that prospect list with B2B lead generation software and keep the quotes next to it, so renewal conversations start from a record.
GovDash pricing questions
Does GovDash have a free trial?
The pricing page directs buyers to sales and does not describe a self-serve trial. Ask the vendor whether a pilot with your own documents is available, because a canned demo does not show how the drafts compare with your style.
Is GovDash priced per user?
Partly. Full seats are paid and include a monthly credit allotment, while flex seats are unlimited and draw on shared team credits. That means your cost follows the number of people who draft heavily, not everyone who opens the tool.
Is there a monthly GovDash plan?
Starter is described as an annual plan and Growth as an annual commitment. No monthly option is published. DefenceContractors monthly plans can be cancelled at the end of the paid month if you want to test discovery first.
How does GovDash compare with GovWin?
GovWin IQ is an opportunity and forecasting platform, GovDash is a proposal and capture workspace. They solve different steps. Our GovWin pricing breakdown covers the discovery side.
